NFSUnlimited.net

An idea appeared to have a wiki section right here of NFSUnlimited.net - if you are not familiar with wiki - it's an open part of the website where everyone can add or edit information.
We will be using it to have up to date information regarding upcoming NFS titles (Carbon), cheats, hints and anything else that is somehow related to the Need for Speed series.

The wiki software has already been installed and is available here: http://wiki.nfsunlimited.net
The best structure for the wiki has not yet been defined and so I'm asking you all to participate in the creation of the biggest Need for Speed information resource.


What we also need is a logo for the wiki, to replace the current default image:

Good question, but I can tell you that we certainly aren't supposed to be discussing NFS.

I just did Hot Pursuit 2, but I don't know the track names so if someone else could fill it in that'd be great.

And I'll do some links for the cars later.

Now the idea is to expand the standard game infos with

* hints
* cheats
* FAQs

and everything else that comes to mind

ok for some reason cant login... they say Login error: You have not specified a valid user name.

Did you put it in the exact way you have it? I just put in my name and password and clicked the nice little login button and it hurled me through internet space to the NFSUnlimited wiki page.

i put SliM_880 and the password and it didnt work... same message displayed: Login error: You have not specified a valid user name.

Try copying and pasting your username from your profile in there and enter your pass.

Very noobish question...how do you add your own profile or information?

You just use your NFSUnlimited.net name and pass on the login thing and it should work.

Yup, once you're logged in, there's a link to your user page (which at this time doesn't exist, therefore the link is red, rather than blue) at top right. Click this and you'll soon be editing your page.

To get a few clues about wiki markup code and such, look at some other pages in edit mode - it's fairly straightforward.

I think im having the same problem as Slim....i cant seem to login even with my nfsunlim pass [which i obviously edited in this pic anyway]...maybe its because we have symbols in our usernames, not just letters and numbers?
