A computer that could play Carbon at minimum req's would probably cost like $200. But that'd be a really crappy computer.

You'd be better off getting a ps2 or some console for that much, because there is no way you could get a PC which could run NFSC on such a crap budget.

I have PS2, but I want to play online with out having to buy or connect anything, since im not much of a handyman. The only technical thing I know alot about are cars.

EDIT: Thanks for your help GT and T3ICE.

You will not be able to buy a PC that will run need for speed carbon for that shiznit amount of money.

Unless you can find something else to better your current computer through upgrading, don't even think about it.

Honestly you'll need a lot more than $300 to build a PC. Use that money to get a good CPU and motherboard. You'll have to save up for the rest.

Uhh, you wont be getting a good processor and motherboard with $300, thats enough for a half decent processor but to get a processor and motherboard together with that much it will be complete crap. For me it cost $190 for a motherboard and $253 for the cpu, most expensive part in my computer was the gfx card at $353.

Like zomG. [/sarcasm]. That's actually cheap for an Alienware. I've seen a top-of-the-line Alienware for 10 grand. Now, that's a real computer...

But seriously now, you need at least $600 for a decent computer and don't buy shiznit like Dell or Gateway. Get only the parts you need yourself and assemble it (e.g. you don't need to waste money on a case, monitor, keyboard, mouse, etc.)

Yeah, if you want it cheap and still good (like, you're going for a gaming comp), get the parts yourself.

Hmm..I assembled my own pc..

And it consisted of only 5 parts..a mobo , a cpu, a really high end gpx card, DDRII 800mhz ram, and a trusty PSU...

All this costed about 1200$ ...
This is not branded..

If u want a pc..wait till u have enough cash so that u can buy a really G00D one :|
Instead of buying shiznit over and over again...

i agree with t3ice the only problem is tho i just a few years that high end gfx card of today will be outdated and old and barely able to keep up with new games. that is why i wouldnt go for the biggest and baddest gfx card around today b/c in a few years it will be old technology. instead get a gfx card that is a solid performer that will last a couple years and doesnt put a huge dent in the wallet

exactly so dont by a 6200 GT ..just cause its 6 series or a 7300something with
512Mb vram..to later find out the it sucks ....real bad

Instead do some research and Buy one that will last ...and make sure u have
enough cash to get it...
