Im lost with the online thing

Okay, so im lost with playing online.

I have mastered messages and adding friends, but how do i race people?

And i need a mic to talk to people?

All info on how tog et started racing people would be helpful.

I stumbled upon a race with two people, then i left to try and race another guy (on the forum) who kept sending me a race invite but i didnt know how to accept it.

you can go into quick match or race day from the main menu, there will be many options in there. make sure to choose multiplayer
