Hi guys, anyone had any luck playing MW on windows 7? As soon as I click the speed.exe from the original directory, nothing happens, that's it... Tried googling some patches, tried compatibility modes as well, but to no avail.

Hmm, haven't tried it but I could see if it works on my MCE (which runs 7 ultimate rtm). I'll get back to you.

Edit: Nevermind, found the solution - apply the official 1.3 patch...

Yup, worked fine for me too (with 1.3 installed).

Resolution hack also works... The game looks pretty good on a 42" Full-HD TV at 1920x1080.

hi everyone, when I was on widows XP, there was no problem on my NFSMW. When I started to upgrade to vista, the game is loaded without any problems, but it crashes when the real career start (after I choose my first stock car).

What is the problem? can somebody help please?

PS: I moved on Windows seven and aply patch 1.3 but it still have the same problem.

Perhaps you're running out of RAM? Post your configuration here...

I'm looking for some help to run NFS Most Wanted (US retail Black Edition DVD) under Windows 7 Pro 64-bit. PC has E8400 C2D CPU stock @3GHz, 4GB RAM and nVidia 8800GT/512MB (G92 gpu) vidcard.

I can run NFS-MW in single player (offline) mode. I can successfully Login to my EA Account with an existing Personna name & account, BUT as soon as I choose multiplayer race (eg Match Race, all options= any), NFS-MW shuts down and Win7 x64 pops up a dialog saying it (MW) crashed - check for solution says MW is incompatible. I tried setting Compatibility mode to WinXP SP3 but it won't launch.

Any ideas how to work around this and get multiplayer NFS-MW working ??
