Lan Play, Crashing

Ok.. new problem
Finaly finished the game. And i'm trying to lan up with a friend to race and we cant do it.
Firewall and all that is working fine nfsmw is allowed.
I can start a lan game and he can see it when we go to join it makes up create a game. we do that. then when that is done it crashes while it says its creating the game.
Any ideas?
