Windows 7: NFS Underground 1 and 2 controls?

Simple, they don't save. In Underground 1 none of them do, and in Underground 2 the nitro key is the only one that doesn't save.
IDK if it's relevant but here's my control scheme:
Throttle: W
Rear: S
Left: A
Right: D
Nitro: UP Arrow
Shift up: Shift
Shift down: Ctrl
Now that I think of it, the reason why the nitro key in U2 is the only one that resets is that the others are already default lol
Any ideas?
