BTW, that outrun (for anyone who didn't click on it) was a pic of my outrun with a Mustang GT at 6.30 seconds.

nice work dude, nice work!!
some people might not agree with me, but i think its not all just 'pure luck' it does take some skill to get a low number >> speed, good streering, know your way around Bayview and most of all accelration.

during this race right when I clicked on enter and it said go the computer wrecked immediately. I mean not even a second went by. LOL.
I probably could have done better on the time considering, but I didn't know honestly that I was doing it. I had hesitated because I seem him wreck.

or simply bash the opponent againstst the wall near at a exit on the freeway and TADA outrun done in 7 seconds

yeah, that works!
I usually try to push them against the oncoming traffic.
I done that on hard difficulty one time and they dodged the car and that made myself hit the car! LOL.

6.14 seconds - no cheats
i used the Aries ramming technique...
1> locate opponent
2> speed up into him with full blast nos
3> upon immediate contact with him, press enter (or the outrun challenge acceptance button)
4> fortunately you will be in a position of almost full speed ahead while opponent is rotating in the air
