I don't lie man, cpu doesn't matter, its the gfx card that really does the workPabl0z wrote:Yeah well i still ain't buying it... Even with the never gfx-card you would have a lot of problems with doom 3 because your pc would still be worse than mine because my cpu is so much better than a 1.3ghz celeron.
NFSMW requirements
Yeah well i think the Radeon 9550 isn't that much better than my Ti4200 128mb with AGP 8X... At least my card was almost as good as the 9600 pro in a test i saw in a magazine. It was actually just as good as the 9600 pro on smaller resolutions but lost about 10-15% on higher resolutions and higher graphics.
lol wut

Ahh the power of oc
Anyway, im not trying to have arguments over whos comp is better, im just saying how it is, my comp runs Doom3 without problems and thats how its always been, im not trying to brag, but its true, that was before the oc also
Theres one downside though, my mum has a big eBay addiction so i don't use the computer very often, another reason for building my own comp

i wont believe you unless you're playing on a small resolution: eg 640x460StreekG wrote:... and since then i played doom3 and got sick of lag so i bought an 256mb Radeon 9550 played it on max graphics with no lag,
and this is on a 1.3ghz Celeron 512 MB
my computer is way better than yours and even i cant play D3 on max gfx until i turn down my resolution..i play mine on 800x600
besides that i'm not afraid that MW wont run on this comp..though i think i'll have 2 upgrade my RAM, for future applications....
Your comps are realy great and powerfull thenn! I am using 256 MB RAM I am planning to buy another 256 so I will have 512!Andre_online wrote:Why not?? I am using 1GB of RAM...Kid Cro wrote:2GB RAM???????? I dont think so!

Oh god! My friend have 1024MB RAM and he is only thatt I know who have that much MR RAM! Here comps are not so strong like in America or other countryes! Here most people have 256MB and some1 who wanna litlle better preformance and need powerfull comp buy 512!

Well i'll have
AMD 64 3200
MSI K8T NEO FISR2(Have already)
ATI RADEON 9800PRO 128mb(have already)
512DDR400
And i'm pretty sure i'll be running it at max or close to max, prolly i'll want another 512ddr if i end up hating the songs in the game and have to resort to my own music via winamp.
I should have those before the release date infact.

i would never ever play on resolution as low as 640x460, thats just gay.... you trying to give me nightmares or something?bashderq wrote:i wont believe you unless you're playing on a small resolution: eg 640x460StreekG wrote:... and since then i played doom3 and got sick of lag so i bought an 256mb Radeon 9550 played it on max graphics with no lag,

When i say doom 3 max graphics with no lag, i play on 800 x 600, there really is no improvement in graphics itself from the full max, just resolution change, and even then i didn't really notice much resolution wise, and im running a 17" LCD, maybe if i had 19"
meh, i'll get one for the comp im building
Never heard of a 3600..Freeman wrote:athlon 3600+

You probably will be able to, I think you have to turn off more things though.canhoto wrote:i can play underground2 with everything to the max except the enhanced contrast and the full screen anti-aliasing...(res:1280x1024)
will i be able to play MW?
my gfx card is an ATI 9200 radeon 128mb
I played doom3 on 850mhz, 256mb sdram,fx5200 128mb,at lowest to mid setting of course and i ran and only lagged when i fired my weapons(basically when theres lots of particles)
Plus i play nfsu2 at mid setting and it runs fairly aight but i need to upgrade cuz i want max graphics + max performance from now on.

I highly doubt it. The vanilla 6600 isn't really a great card. If you get a 7800GT however you'd be fine and you'd probably even be able to throw on some filtering.baadmw wrote:ive got an important question to make here... do you think MW will run on high settings with these specs?
NVIDIA® GeForce™ 6600 256 Mb
AMD Athlonâ„¢ 64 3200+
1 Gb DDR-SDRAM
200 Gb Serial ATA
To run MW you'll probably need at least a 2.8 P4 or Sempron 2500+ with 512MB DDR and at least a 9600XT/FX 5800. This would be on minimal settings with playable fps. To get good quality and playable fps I'd recommend at least an Athlon64 3200+, a gig of PC3200 and at least a 6600GT though. Its probably going to be pretty demanding.
