I'd like to clear this out before anyone starts complaining. I hope you'll explain this to others too when the showroom goes public:
Unlike in SR2 where giving a low vote would drop the rating, here even a low vote increases the reputation: just not as much. There is no way a car's reputation would go down, it just goes up. Right now by getting votes and comments:
* 50 rep points for each comment from a different person
* for voting the formula is: ln(vote * 10) * 5 - that means 12 points for 1 and and 23 points for 10.
Additionally when the new SRChallenge is joined, there will be fixed amounts awarded for winning those competitions.
There will be no vote checking and deleting. If someone gives your car a 1, be happy, you received 12 points!
The top3 lists in game home and category home will be the top cars according to reputation received in the last 24 hours!
Ranking:
The stars are determined like this:
0 stars: less than 0.5 of the average showroom reputation
0.5 star: less than 0.75 of the average showroom reputation
1 star: less than 1.0
1.5 star: less than 1.25
2 stars: less than 1.5
2.5 stars: less than 2
3 stars: less than 2.5
3.5 stars: less than 5
4 stars: less than 10
4.5 stars: less than 20
5 stars: more than 20times the average showroom reputation
Average showroom reputation is sum of all reputation divided by amount of cars.
The ratios may change later (depending on how the showroom will act)
This is somehow public knowledge so if you want to share it with others, go ahead
