An update for Need for Speed World is scheduled to go live tonight, July 26th, starting at 1pm (14:00) PDT -- 4pm (17:00) EST -- 9pm (22:00) GMT with servers going back online at 5pm (17:00) PDT -- 8pm (20:00) EST -- 1am (1:00) GMT.



The release notes are below:

- In celebration of our 1-year anniversary: the all-new Porsche 959 has been added to the game and is available for purchase with Cash from the Car Dealer

- A Porsche 959 “Year One” edition is available for purchase with SpeedBoost, and comes equipped with Performance Parts and an exclusive Art Director-designed livery

- The Nissan 350z (Underground 2) is now available for purchase with Cash from the Car Dealer

- The Volkswagen Scirocco (Zack) is now available for purchase with Cash from the Car Dealer

- The Dodge Viper SRT10 is now available for purchase with Cash from the Car Dealer

- A “Year One” license plate has been added, and is available for purchase with Cash from the Aftermarket Shop

- A “Year One” vinyl is available for purchase with Cash from the Vinyl Shop

- Three cars have been reduced in price as a limited time offer



[b]Bug Fixes/Changes[/b]:

- The starting grid formation has been staggered to optimize race starts

- The steering ratio has been tweaked for all cars to allow all cars to perform at 100% steering capability

- Fixed the Toyota Supra’s drivetrain and made it a pure RWD

- Fixed a body roll issue across all cars. Cars will now have less body roll

- Fixed an issue with the reverse gear in all cars. Cars can now reverse more efficiently

- Equalized the NOS values that gave some cars unfair advantages

- Fixed an issue that caused the Cop radar to disappear from the mini-map after triggering a Pursuit

- Fixed an issue that prevented Cops from appearing when leveling up to level 2 from a Treasure Hunt

- Fixed an issue that caused Cash Rewards to drop to 0 when activating a Cash Amplifier at level 50

- An open barrier in the Team Escape event “Most Wanted“ has been fixed

- A wall in Rosewood Stadium that was able to be driven through has been fixed

- Fixed an issue that prevented the Rewards screen from displaying after all players are Busted past 50% completion in Team Escape events

- Fixed an issue in the Vinyl Shop that caused the colour thumbnail to always appear black after changing colours

- A number of missing tool-tip images in the Aftermarket Shop were added

- Fixed an issue that caused Power-ups to render white when used during the night cycle

- Some Visual Packages with see-through sections were fixed for the Lotus Elise

- Fixed an issue that prevented auto-complete from functioning in the Group Invite field

- A number of localization fixes were made[/quote]
