Basic info Car: 2006 Nissan 350Z Date added: Thursday, 17. January 2008 From garage: X.Road Description: Firstly, I'll like to dedicate this ride to RAYADO. I started a long time ago, and wasn't that successful, and after a few years, I came back. Not doing well again, I asked Rayado how he is so popular. He was happy to help, and has commented close to all of my rides, and also sets a benchmark which I am always tryng to leap over. So thanks for your help, advice and the challenge you present. I hope you like this 350Z, with a vivid colour scheme as found on many of your rides. Now the car... Thought I'd do something other than race cars. Tribals are in at the moment in the show scene, so yes... yes... typical... typical. But I wanted to build a show/street car, and the style fits perfectly, with rich and vibrant gloss paint... I haven't used colours this vibrant before. I had to liven the car up with a pattern as usual, hence the ghosted tribals. By the way, if you notice the spoiler and mirrors are a tiny bit different to the body's colour, please don't penalise me for that... to achieve the fluorescent effect, and also to allow for shape vinyls to be used to tidy up the edges of the two tone. That's as close as it gets. Showy, smart decal work has been performed, with a workshop decal (custom "C Full Race" (c is for custom)) and an import tuner decal and compeditor number like Autosalon compeditors. The nissan decal on the FB is supposed to look like a badge, and I find that it is enough to make the front look complete rather than empty, so it's staying. I did try to put more on the FB, but the way it wraps warps the decals so don't say the front is plain. Still, not every car, especially showcars have to be crazy and messy, it's about the whole package. To make the borderline good kit on the Zed nice, I used some black squares to hide it's more ugly features. The hood hints at the enginework that's been performed, and mimics the new model's muscular look, and I tried to make the spoiler similar to the veilside design. The rims are Work... Japanese bling, and I find they suit the vinyl nicely. Finally, my favourite part, the all glass roof! Looks much neater and makes the cabin a much sunnier and cooler place... although not temperature wise. Enjoy. For Your Information: -Vinyl Layers: 20 -Decal Layers: 16 -Build time: 1.5 hours (idea has been with me for a while though) -Car Class: Speed (1st one) Note: The colours may change depending on the quality of the monitor. On cheaper monitors the colours may appear really bright. Also, a common criticism was that it was empty at the front... I've done everything I can with the layers I have to make it more complete. Also, this is all I can do, the FB has problems with decals on it and warps everything. If you don't belive me try to put decals on it. I hope the side decals have helped make the entire car look more complete. Tags
