Description: I always liked the new GTO, even if the majority of America didn't. I know it's a Monaro with a Pontiac grille and badge... but come on, a 5.7 and 6.0 liter V8? 400hp? Nobody seemed to care in the 60s that the GTO was just a Tempest with a 400ci V8 because it could go fast. And that's what American muscle is about, plain and simple. Going fast. So this GTO has all the go-fast performance parts. It's also lowered and has mismatched, body-colored wheels in front and back with silver rims. Black metallic finish with ghost flames... and black stickers along the side skirts. Up front is a cowl induction hood with a black Pontiac logo right in the middle. I like to think of this Pontiac as a living in two worlds: a world of subtleties with the paint and decal/vinyl work as well as the slightly more pronounced rear spoiler, and a world of visible aggression - with the cowl hood, black wheels and low stance. The new GTO doesn't have to look like '02 Grand Prix... but it doesn't need the over-the-top and garish look-at-me decals and paint that you'd see on, say, a '78 Mustang King Cobra (lol).
