Need for Speed ProStreetCar: 1986 Toyota Corolla GTS (AE86) Date added: Friday, 28. March 2008 Description: Please read the comment to really get to know the car⦠also, take a look at all the views, especially the artistic-industrial one (it's photo mode, did a few races to get the sunset). _____________________________________________________ Some people will be able to guess who made this car⦠itâs not intentional⦠you canât take my style out of my creation. Please vote fairly. _____________________________________________________ Now⦠yes, itâs risky picking the AE86 as a platform for a competition entry as its not loved by everyone⦠but I had the plan, and I wanted to have a proper crack at the â86 rather than just something slapped together quickly when I first played PS. This time, it had a theme⦠and the urban graffiti theme was something I toyed with, this being the perfect opportunity to pull it off (which was a absolute pain). Now, I went for a rough, cold look⦠sort of like the slums almost. I just wanted it to have a harsh look, hence the cold black and silver colour combo. Now, the original plan was a mural sort of thing⦠but with vinyl layer and design limitations, good luck. So instead, I went with funky graphics. A bit of graffiti, the âFull Raceâ decal looking graffiti like, and I added a few small touches make it look sprayed on, and messy like amateur graffiti. It really gave it that touch to make it look a little different. Another detail which is unusual are the eyelashes on one of the headlights. Yes, it is overlap of the hood tribal, and I easily could have hidden it, but I thought it looked pretty cool and unique, lightening up the dark matte bumper. Also makes the car look emo-ish⦠sort of cold, which fit the theme I was after. So I had already started a unique sponsored look, so I continued it and made it a drifter. Of course... as the theme is "urban street machine". it's still a street legal drifter. :-P The car choice in the end suited the look in my opinion, the square, boxy look of the car looking tough. It wasnât a sleek car these graphics were meant for; it was a hard-edged beater! The stock kit would not have achieved this look though, and as the rest of the kits are rubbish and stock autosculpt has a drinking straw muffler, there was only one choice, the wide body kit. It was looking tough, slammed and hardcore by then, and all it needed was a set of rims⦠it had to look sort of urban and modern, so your usual old school Japanese rims were out, and it needed to look tough, so the choice was these clean, tough BBS mesh rims. As a bonus, they complemented the tribals nicely. The small, ducktail-style spoiler tops off the body package. Well⦠now you know all about this ARTWORK. Enjoy and good luck everyone else who entered. yeah..that sounds good.. could bring the car more of an urban-graffiti look..its just the concept of using colors brings the car out from the typical urban look in which it becomes more pleasant to eyes IMO..

I remember this one from the challenge. I thought it was cool, but I never expected it to be yours 
. I guess it ended 18th because it doesn't fit the them that good. Yes, there is graffiti on it but still, it doesn't have that graffiti look. It doesn't deserve to be on the 18th place though, not by far
