Need for Speed ProStreetCar: 1968 Plymouth Road Runner Date added: Friday, 19. September 2008 From garage: - ATC - Hall of Fame Description: Showroom Weekly #25 out now! -ATC- Affiliated Inferno is the name! Why? Well, the paintwork was originally going to snake around the car... going back to the carbon days where I was doing a few asymmetric designs, including a dragon leaping onto the hood. I thought a low rider would be perfect for this theme... but this was very ambitious within 20 layers, lol. In the end, I was restricted to a white base, and used close to every layer available, bar 5 decal layers. In theory it was good, in practice, a logistical nightmare! But I pulled it off! So, what we see here is inferno! I stumbled upon the flames, thought they looked cool as a pattern, and worked from there, basically making an "on fire" theme, as if the inner fire was burning through the paintwork! Combine that with the custom bodywork, updating the car and making it look neater, the hot rod rims in matching chrome, and the unusual lines of the roadrunner, and you get a devilish looking ride!
