December 2008 From garage: Competition Works Description: Alongside the concept cars, Mercedes-Benz will bring to the Detroit Motor Show this car, the all-new Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG GT-R Convertible. Coming from the race car, this exclusive car exploits the limits of luxury and sportivity. The 6.5 V12 Biturbo engine the moves the SL65 AMG GT-R has slight modifications from the production version, like new pistons, headers, exhaust and ECU programming. These improvements have given the car more 38 hp, now having 650 hp. Externally, this ride has a new racing-inspired bodykit, new rims and a new spoiler.
