Stacked Deck EVO

Basic info Car: 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX Date added: Saturday, 9. May 2009 From garage: ATC: ProStreet Style Description: Was playing NFSC again, hex-editing the Stacked Deck vinyls onto cars and had a little idea, so I booted up PS and ended up with this. This reminds me of the crappy Stacked Deck cars I used to do a couple of years ago. They're gone now - they're a mess and I'm pretty sure this one's better. Dedicated to my father. He's not here to see it because he died of lung cancer on April Fool's. And no, I'm not kidding. Trust me, seeing a loved one die in front of your eyes and not being given the chance to hold their hand one last time as they breathe their last few breaths really sucks. Take it from me. I really miss him. I know it's been more than a month but I still can't let go. RIP Steven Tan Born 22/9/1953 Died 1/4/2009 With the Lord Anyway, enough of my whining. Enjoy the car. Deeply sorry to hear about what happened to your father. Losing a parent is one of the most harsh things a person can go through, especially before age twenty. I'm roughly the same age and I can't imagine what I'd do if either of my parents died.Take your time, give yourself a few months to let it heal a little. It won't ever go away, but don't shut out the things you enjoy in life, either. (Also, now I can understand why you left - if things around here became more irritating than fun for me, too, and I had to deal with something like this, I'd do the same.)
As far as the car goes, I love the unconventional way the car is "divided", so to speak, and the decal placement is spot-on. The rims, although something not usually seen, suit the car well. The only suggestion I'd offer is to swap the red and the black; it isn't as true to Stacked Deck's style, but it moves the "focal point" from the front and back - giving the impression of length - to the sides, which provides a sense of width, which better suits a track-oriented car. (Then again, Stacked Deck's cars are meant to be street machines, rather than track weapons.)
Sorry for posting late. This is what happens when you disappear from the Showroom for a couple of months (and, in my case, just out of sheer forgetfulness
