Basic info Car: Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec V Date added: Tuesday, 20. October 2009 From garage: FSST Description: Don't you hate when you write a massive description and then you press upload and it says "you must be logged in to use this feature"....GRRRRRRRRR!!!! PLEASE READ BEFORE COMMENTING ------------------------------------------------------------ I am in love with this car, one of my favourite designs for a very long time. It's got this really great tuner feel, with the stripe vinyls, strong contrasting colours and a crazy bk. I really like how the bk turned out, especially the FB, it really gives this car a unique feel. The clean but stylish hood and flowing spoiler also add to the overall feel. And I love the eyelids, I think they give the sort of aggressive intimidating feeling that you see on cars like D-Tox's Civics. ------------------------------------------------------------ PLEASE R/C, EVERY COMMENT APPRECIATED. Ok. First off, the body kit is definitely unique, I like the sharp-looking theme. That angular, rectangle-ish front bumper is very rarely used and fits well with the equally aggressive-looking side skirt and rear bumper. The eyelids add to that mean theme, and the sharp-ish hood is another nice compliment to the body and eyes. However, I do feel that this body is just much too sharp for a car like the Sentra. It's naturally an extremely rounded car and has very smooth, flowing stock bodywork, with these body parts all looking exactly the opposite of how the Sentra looks best. A more squarish car like the Civic is just much more fitted to such modifications IMO. The squared side mirrors and razor-ish rims also fit the theme and bodywork, but again, just don't fit well on a car like the Sentra. Well, the rims might work all right. The spoiler is fine too, it's slightly more curved and flows with the natural, stock shape of this Nissan. The vinylwork... it's fairly simple, which in and of itself isn't a bad thing, but the problem is just that this same basic combo has been done so many times before and I've seen this same vinyl setup so many times before. It just doesn't really stand out as anything really special or unique to me like the bodywork did. And some crazier, bolder vinyls would also fit this risky, dangerous-looking body a bit better, although the modern look it has now is a nice start. Both the decals are a nice touch. As for the colors, honestly I'm not such a big fan of them either. The ride definitely needs something different than the mega-overused red/black/white or such, something a bit more out there and bold to fit the vinyls which, again, should also be a bit more extreme too, but this blue/yellow just looks almost childish and the car looks almost like a toy car and takes away from the aggressive bodywork and other mean parts.
Bottom line, I love most of the parts you chose, the body especially, and this is a good start on the vinyls. But I just think the Sentra was a very poor choice for the car. Like I mentioned, something like this on a car like a Civic, with a bit more aggressive and experimental vinyls and colors, would be one hell of a ride.
