Special thanks to amda1 for his inspiration. Without his Discussion Corner, I would have never created this garage. You can check out his garage here: http://www.nfsunlimited.net/showroom/garage/3377

Transforming and rotating vinyls
Transforming is relative to the car. So if you hit the right key 5 times to transform it, the vinyl will stretch from the front of the car to the back. If you rotate the vinyl 90 degrees, it will still stretch from the front to the back, not up and down. So remember to rotate your vinyls before transforming them to what you want them to look like.

When Taking Screenshots
Brightness
Bump up your in-game brightness anywhere from 10%-25% if your cars appear too dark when you take a screenshot. People are more likely to rate a car they can actually see than one they can't.

Angle
Remember that the angle you take the screenshot can also make or break your car. There are 5 basic angles that people use. They are the following:

1. Direct side shot. This one is great if using more than one angle if you are wanting to do an artistic entry.
2. Front-side angle; slightly from above. This is one you can use for just about anything, but it is overused a lot of times. It is best used if you want to show off the side of the car and the top of the hood.
3. Front-side angle; from the ground. This one is best used on cars that have a lot of personality. It doesn't show off as much of the car, so make sure you get the parts of your car that you want to highlight in the screenshot.
4. Rear-side angle; slightly from above. This one is good if you want to show off most of the car, but want to give the screenshot a more unique feeling over using the front-side angle. It is also great if you can't find that right front bumper or that right hood.
5. Rear-side angle; from the ground. This one is perfect if you want to give your car a very unique perspective. I would only use this one if you are only wanting to show off the side of the car.

Those are just some basic angles that most people tend to use the most. You might want to try taking about 3-5 screenshots of your car and send them to your friends to see which angle they like the best.

When Sending a Duel
When you want to duel someone, check and see when the last time that person was on by going to their main profile. As a general rule of thumb, don't sent a duel request to anyone who has not been on in the past seven days, you will just waste a perfectly good duel request on someone who will most likely not log in soon enough to accept your duel. Instead, send him a PM and ask him if he will either send a duel to your car or if he can let you know when would be a good time for you to send one to him.

Also, make sure that you duel only unedited cars. If you duel a car that has been edited in any way, chances are that the duel will be deleted even before people actually get around to voting on it; not to mention it makes you look stupid for either sending a duel to an edited car or trying to sneak your edited car into the classic section.
