In the News
The SRChallenge started approximately 1 week ago, and have finally ended. There were 19 entries and the winner has been announced. Congratulations to ahmad0410 for winning the first SRChallenge with his Nissan 350Z.

2nd place goes to tb3nz's ReactS15 and 3rd place goes to baumaxx1's Positive R3action - Golf R32.

The voting system is fair, all the entries had their fair chances, also the user's name is hidden, until the voting is done.

The next SRChallenge's theme is "American Hot Rod Challenge". There's a catch though, only the following muscle cars are allowed:

-1967 Chevrolet Camaro SS
-1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS
-1971 Dodge Challenger R/T
-1969 Dodge Charger R/T
-1967 Shelby GT500
-1970 Plymouth Hemi Cuda
-1968 Plymouth Road Runner
-1965 Pontiac GTO
-1967 Chevrolet Corvette C2

So get ready the best hot rod and prepare for the next SRChallenge which will start next sunday.

Let's move on to other news. This week's Birth of ProStreet interview features Stephan Papadakis and his 450hp Honda S2000. His ride does drift and drag. Watch him go sideways here.

In the Spotlight

McW@y's 'r3act t3am' Acura #23

McW@y's Acura is one professional looking car, and if it was entered into the r3act showroom challenge; a big challenge for the competition. The usual formula has been emploted, with the r3act mascot, Tanuki, the centrepiece of the layout, and the r3act colour combo used. However this stands out from many other r3act cars, using white as its base to give it a cleaner, neater look. The rest of vinylwork is a similar affair, looking absolutely flawless. A stripe vinyl has been used to complement the mascot, and a modern, custom gradient finishes off a nice layout perfectly, matching the unusual grey coloured rims and hood. To complete the race look, a race-styled number box and intelligently placed decals have been employed.

The bodywork is what you'd expect from a racer, featuring aggressive aerodynamic upgrades. The GT wing spoiler, large rear diffuser, and large front lip have all been selected to increase down force and improve grip, just like on a real track prepared car. This car is a superb example of a racecar with a heavy NFS influence, and you'll be hard pressed to find a better team car in the showroom.

FnF's Mclaren F1 GTR

This car exudes speed, looking ready to destroy the competition. Beginning with an already brutal car, the McLaren F1, FnF has added a hardcore body kit that retains the car's natural lines and aggressive BBS mesh rims to match. Working with these lines, FnF has created a beautiful vinyl layout that goes far to enhance an already brilliant car using yellow shapes to highlight the body's design features. A unique colour combo helps to make this quite the attention getter on the track, with a grey with yellow pearl base livened up with white tone work and yellow highlights. To top off the race look, decals have been placed intelligently around the car working well with the body and vinyl work to make it look as fast as it goes.

hardvibes03's Nismo R-Tune R34

Classy and aggressive are two words which best describe this street Skyline. Taking inspiration from Nismo road cars, a simple and effective package has been built up showcasing a true street fashion. The bodykit has been modified slightly to give the car a more muscular appearance, and the stock hood has been swapped for a more aggressive design, completing the tough, Z-tuned inspired bodykit. The body package has been complemented nicely with Nismo style racing rims in white, matching the colour combo and Japanese look perfectly.

The vinyl layout continues the clean tuning theme with a simple triple stripe design along the side, incorporating the tuner logo in a fashion common with workshop prepared cars. The hood layout is pure Nismo, adding spice to a simple, but effective layout. Light decals, a neccessity on race styled cars, top off the street look.

Although this GT-R has a strong Nismo influence, it is of a very high standard and displays a clean street style of which good examples are a rarity in the showroom. It is a textbook example of how simple, well thought out tuner cars can be just as appealing as full on showcars and racecars.

Vote for the Car of the Month!
Do your part and vote for the 2nd Car of the Month! Be careful though, its hard to choose, trust me. And remember, you have TWO cars to vote for, so make up your mind and may the best man win!

Creativity Competitions
Last week we presented the start of a new Signature competition, an interesting one, only that not everybody found the idea challenging. The Poll is up and running, so you might want to Vote for the best signature, there. Let's see who's the next winner.

Last time we didn't gave you an exact winner for the Chop Comp, because we didn't knew him. This time we do, it's BKzike_GT, with his Two tone, clean look Prelude.
.

As the winner, he chose the car for the next Chop Comp. The car has lots of potential, if you think you are up for the challenge, don't hesitate and make a visit to the Thread, hurry up, the comp is about to end, careful though, this one is tricky, don't fall it the "rice" section, because we don't like rice! Good luck!
