Race Days
Last week we announced an upcoming big Race Day, called Energizer Lithium Race Day. Why is it big? Because the winner, also called Energizer Lithium Street King will receive real prizes from EA and Energizer. We still don't have more information about this race day, but we usually check EA's Race Day list.
In the News
The Raxles Challenge is on roll, lots of nice entries are available, waiting for you to take the Voting Tour. The same voting pattern is available, you must vote all the cars in order to make your vote count. Vote fair, no underscore, well you don't need to underscore, since the entries are all good looking. Some entries show lots of work hours, some are rushed, but they all deserve your attention. While in the voting session, check the car description as well, it might give explanation why the car is like that.
Other than that, stay close for the final results, we'll find out the winner and the next challenge. We like how the challenges work, more and more entries from theme to theme. Keep up the good work and good luck with the next projects!
In the Spotlight
Team Hankook Silvia S15 by McW@y

McW@y weekly returns this issue with this stunning Hankook S15 replica displaying incredible attention to detail. I saw this link and I thought Ahmad was becoming a bit obsessed with McW@y and his creations, but for anyone who wants to do a replica, look at this car, study it and look at the real pictures. Now try to find any flaws in McW@y's work... good luck. This is the level of detail that is expected if you are aiming to replicate a real ride... this car displays perfect vinyl work and a perfect choice in parts. Looking closely, some sponsors may change due to the ones included in the game, but McW@y has ensured that the decals resemble the ones on the real counterpart. Now, go out and try to top this perfect replica. Good luck once again!
Sharkragon by ZeRacer

Sometimes, you just have to think outside the box to impress. Feel a bit restricted with the limited selection of vinyls available to you? There's no need to feel that way, as shown by this ride, featuring a unique shark-dragon fusion known as "Sharkagon"... indeed. Quirky as it looks and sounds, it's great and is a refreshing change from your generic ninjas and samurais and dragons found on Japanese inspired rides.
Now that the idea was there, it doesn't work on any old base. First, a well known import was chosen as the base and was kitted up with a fat body kit. The rim choice is an unusual show/race combination, fitting in with the very retro-Underground look. Behind the vinyls is a lick of vivid blue paint topped with some decals further adding to the Underground inspired look. The centrepiece, the unique vinyl has a manga look to it due to the white colour and black stroke and completes this quirky and fresh import. This ride is very much displays the classic Underground look of the original street racing NFS, and shows that a little bit of creativity can stand out.
Creativity Competitions
Signature competition is going on well enough. The "Favorite City" Poll has come to an end, the winner is Porsche-AG- with his New York fav city.

We have a new theme, this time around is the "Favorite Mode of Transportation". So what's it going to be: car, train, plane? We suggest to create a signature asap and join in, good sigs are already registered, so choose carefully, oh and you should take care of the size related rules. More info, here.
Chop Competition is still running, sadly with no contestants, looks like the new kid from the VW manufacturer doesn't bring up any interest. There are some promises though, we hope to have some entries in the book. If you are interested, go to this thread and check for more information.
Cover design is going good too, the 1st one is finished and race_invader won it, here is his work.
Next up, we have Test Drive Unlimited 2 cover art. Lets see how this goes. The game is only a rumor, so put your creativity and skill altogether and make something good. Go to the thread and read 1st post for further information and to download the cover template. Good luck!

^Why not? As whoever wrote this said, 'Sharkragon' is a change from your typical Japanese car vinyl....

Hmm... The contributors aren't at the bottom of this issue. I do the spotlight descriptions. Post comment
