Racedays
Before we start the current, already delayed issue, let us apologize, it appears we made a confusion and that wasn't too good for the current issue. We are sorry once again and we assure you, that your patience pays off.

As you already expected, the Online Racedays has started. The first one to the ramp is the NoiseBomb raceday or NFSPlanet's Noisebomb Drift Opening Raceday. It's a bit late for entering now, because the raceday was over on the 23rd of January. There are few teams left for registering, if you didn't joined a team, we suggest you start doing so.

Second to the ramp is Rogue Speed Raceday, but be aware, your car has to be limited up to 300HP, a nice way to keep things clean and to offer players an equal chance on winning. If you didn't have a chance to play, or to join, just check the Leaderboards for scores.

The third raceday, from our very own r3act race org, should appear online very soon. It will be the first race org racedays with real prizes so don't miss it!

If you haven't joined one of the teams already check out the following: r3ACT , Battle Machine , Rogue Speed or SuperPromotion. Good Luck!

In the Spotlight
S@Mo's S15 - presents a nice combinations of colors and vinyls

McW@y's FALKEN G35 - a great replica nonetheless

Creativity Competitions
Fortnightly on the Creativity Boards, there are signature competitions running, the current theme is "Favorite Drink". This has finally chosen it's theme, after long debates, because most of the themes chosen for the competition, were already made by our talented artists. The competition is about to end, let's throw an eye over the entries:

Jopuma:

S2K:

Zero260:

ImJ:

BKize_GT:

xHaZxMaTx:

viper16:

PorscheAG:

race_invader:

TS-X:

Great entries and lots of 'em. Good job guys!
If you want your post to count, hurry up and vote, the Poll is about to start.

For the chop competition this time, a Japanese car was given to mess around (in good terms) with. We're talking about the Infinity G35 coupe. A lovely car, lovely entries, make your way to the Creativity Board to check them and the original car as well. Hurry up, because the poll is about to end.

NFSUnlimited.net v6
If you visit the forum, then you've probably noticed the new appearance. It's the 6th official NFSUnlimited.net design that will hit the main site in the upcoming days. Whether it looks better or not is in the eye of the beholder, but there is a nice little feature everyone will like. Registered users will have the ability to turn off advertisments. You can go to the edit your profile page (visit your showroom profile) and turn the ads off.

we[SRW staff] decide what cars are in spotlight. Replicas are pretty hard to create, since you have to pay attention to every detail, in order to get an outstanding result.

We probably won't be doing special spotlights for replicas as there's not many good replica we could choose from. But, when there's enough replica's to make the spotlight replica exclusive - probably when a theme in SR Challenge is "Replicas" - then we would certainly select outstanding replicas to be featured in a spotlight.

My opinion....Replicas are not that difficult to make...because you have already a car done....is just put together all the details....and yes it takes time to do that and dedication, but is a copy of a car already done. I know you guys think that is enough to a car be in the spotlight....your right to do it.
Then....how many cars are replicated here?.....the Falken team, that is a nice ride, not saying is bad.....the Hans RX7...another great ride.....the DK 350Z....great Z.....the Skyline in Fast & Furious....and some other 5 or 6 replicas...all nice cars....but I think we have 2,385 of the Hans RX7....we have 1,432 of the Fast & Furious Skyline....2,113 of DK's 350Z and so on....I know I am exaggerating about the numbers..but there are too many I think...

That is my opinion about replicas in spotlight.

Ahh....and I do not get what those drinks announcement contest has to do with NFS...they look nice....everyone can see that...but I do not get it.
