The return of SRChallenge

Showroom Challenges are returning with the first challenge being a r3act racing org themed r3actChallenge where the goal is to build the best r3act themed car. To make it more competitive, r3act will be giving the top entry a prize in the form of a r3act tshirt. The challenge will start on Sunday, February 24th at 12:00 GMT and last for exactly one week. Start tuning now and check out the main site in the day or two on instructions on how to sign up.

Race days
Last week we announced a new race day r3ACT Tanuki Challenge, lucky guys and those quick by hand, got their place in the race day. This week we have the pleasure to announce the winners. As you already know, the race days are covering all 3 gaming platforms, so here are the winners:

-Xbox360: Eleonor 974
-Playstation3: Skygge69 (Best overall score[77262] and Best Drift score)
-PC: VG_Speed (Best Shootout score, Best SpeedChallenge and Best Grip)
If you want to pay them a visit, or you with to personally congratulate them, you can find them in the BattleMachine race org. Congratulations to the winners!

News
This time around we have some important news to give. We'll start off with the first of four interviews about the Birth of ProStreet: Exclusive Interview With Hubinette. Who is Hubinette you might ask. Well, his full name is Samuel Hubinette, 2004 and 2006 drift driver, champion for the Team Mopar. His car is a Dodge Charger SRT8, currently clocked at 700HP! If you want more details, view the movie by visiting THIS link.

We save the best 'till last, so we have something from the president of EA Games, Frank Gibeau, saying that it might be true that future Need For Speed games to get back to their roots. It appears that with the new racing game from EA, ProStreet, they did lost customers, since they threw away the open world police chases, underground and illegal street racing, instead giving them closed and legal circuit races. Gibeau promises that the next NFS game will have it's open world racing back and a "highway battle" mode. When they said "back to it's roots", don't expect that they refer to those point-to-point races, with exotic rides all the way, but surely they meant the Underground series and the recently Most Wanted.

Creativity Competitions

First off is the long living "Favorite drink signature" competition. This one supposed to end few days ago, but something or someone is delaying it, so quick go in the Thread and make your opinion count.

Secondly is the chop competition. Looks like this competition really attract users, it even made one to try his first virtual tuned car. If you want to see some of the entries, or you want to join and don't know how, just follow "the white rabbit" to it's place. Quickly, because the entry submission will be closed soon. Good Luck!

So you do keep up with the weekly? That's good to hear, and I'm glad I'm wrong. I'll take that back then.
About the 'classic' shots: I totally understand why you only wanna show classicshots and I totally agree with that. But I also think that you guys narrow your options down too much by only checking the 'classic'section in the showroom, because there are a lot of people (I don't mean just myself, plenty of people also) that upload a car with a press as mainshot. And I think that 90% of them uploads at least 1 'classic' shot with that, so why don't u select that shot then?

Yeah, I agree about that. Some people prefer to be artistic, and it's not really necessary to upload the same car twice.
