Entry rules
There are 10
General Entry days, each day 100 entries will be featured. Each
NFSUnlimited user is eligible to have two entries in the competition. Entries
will be accepted up to 24 hours before the given car is scheduled to

following the rules below:
- The image must be taken on a PC version of NFS Underground 2. If you own a console, you can have your screenshot made here

- The image must not be noticeably enhanced or edited in any way and must contain only direct game output.
- The car portrayed in the entry must be equipped only with 'parts' and customisations as provided with the game release. Entries portraying 'hacked' parts are not permitted.

In
addition to this main image, up to two additional images may be
submitted in support. These images must portray the same car as
depicted in the main image, and can be taken from any area of the
game, thus allowing action 'in game' shots and so forth. All
applicable constraints listed above also apply to these images. All
images submitted for a given entry will be displayed together during
the competition.
Demo pictures of allowed entries are available here.
Eligibility
The
competition will be open only to registered members of
NFSUnlimited.net over or exactly 13 years of age. Members must authenticate to
the site in order to gain access to the competition entry submission
controls. NFSUnlimited.net staff and their family members are not
eligible for entry.
General Entry
The General
Entry stage will run for 10 days. Each day 100 different cars from
different users will be presented. Each registered member of
NFSUnlimited.net will be allowed to enter 2 cars.
Entries
submitted to the competition will be displayed in a section of the
NFS Unlimited site, dedicated to the competition. An automated system
will randomly display cars which will provide equal chances to each
entry.
The
time period for each day will range from 00h00 GMT t0 23h59 GMT.
Entries will be rated by NFS Unlimited members and visitors
to the NFS Unlimited site using a web form located under each
displayed entry. Entries are rated from 1 to 10, with 10 being the
highest rating attainable. To keep the ratings fair, the site will
permit one vote per entry from a given IP address.
An automated vote tally system will record all votes and yield two
winning entries per day, at the end of each day's competition. These
entries will be those with the highest average ratings received
throughout the day. Each of these winners earns a place in the semi
final round.
Semi Final Round
At the completion of
the General Entry round, all 20 daily finalists will be displayed in
a dedicated site section. NFS Unlimited members and site visitors now
use the same rating mechanisms to rate the semi finalists from
scratch. This voting will continue for three days. At the end of this
time, the automated vote tally system will yield the ten
highest rated cars. These ten entries are entered in the Final
Selection round.
Final Selection
At the completion
of the Semi Finals, results from the automated vote tally system will
indicate the ten highest ranked entries. These are to be posted
separately, with voting controls removed. Final selection can then
take place.
Selection of the final winners winning entries
from the final pool of ten finalist cars will be made by a committee
of sponsor represantatives, EA represantative, NFSUnlimited.net staff
and possibly staff from other important Need for Speed fansites.
The
committee members will give the top 5 cars scores ranging from 5 (for
the best car) to 1 (the 5th car). To determine the final
winners, all scores will be counted and the car with the most points
will be selected as winner.
Winners will be directly notified
by email
