Customization doesn't mean widebody kits and stuff. Customization options in this game are paintjobs, liveries, license plates, rims, ... For some reason, the teaser reminds me a lot of the Shift 2 trailers. Maybe they are trying to make a rival to Forza Horizon. With people who worked in Turn 10, SMS, Simbin, I kind of think that this is what they aim for. this is all i can wish for... but knowing EA... that's wishful thinking at it...
