Well I never sat in a third gen RX-7 but in my old one I had to remove the storage boxes that were behind the seats, but I look at it as weight relocation for traction .

I do like the RX-7 I used to have a 1985 RX-7 but when you stand 6ft 9in it is hard to own such a little car.
