Porsche unleashed here, although I also like NFSU:2 very much... I'd like to see some sort of combination of these two, the more realistic feel of nfs:pu together with LOADS of cars (don't have to be of one brand ofcourse) and the customization features of NFSU:2 (not MW :( , MW sucks because they'v...

no it certainly hasn't got 600Mhz, my card (9600 non-pro) runs @ 189Mhz stock (DDR = 388Mhz), so there's no way the pro has 600Mhz unless you're talking DDR speeds, there are cards with 300Mhz (600Mhz DDR, this one for example) but many are also built with 275Mhz memory if I remember correctly. :lol...

yep the cards jmac mentioned are WAY better than the fx5200, I'm not sure which is faster though, they've got the same amount of pixel-pipelines, the core speed of the 9600pro is higher while the memory speed of the 9800se is higher and the're both 128-bit so the bandwidth is also about the same :? ...

I fail to see how more memory would make it slower ... If you were to compare it to a 128 MB version with the same clock speeds, they should be about equal at low resolutions with no AA, but once you start to move into higher resolutions and/or AA, the increased amount of memory will start to show ...

M3 here as well, although it's slides a lot, it remains on high speed and the tail almost never breaks out, which makes it so fast. Also, like bauke said, it's less sensitive for things like curbs. Other cars I like are the Porsche Carrera GT and the Lotus Elise, but they rarely keep up with the M3 :D

to be honest: no... 256MB will actually make the card slower and the fx5000 series are not good, it also depends on what pc you have got, which graphics card you have got now and what you're gonna use it for, tell us! ATI Radeon x550 the x550 is a good choice when looking at the specs, search for a ...

Dudes, PIC were the type of port graphic card used back in mid 1990's or so. That graphic graphic port was replaced with AGP and AGP got faster as there were different types like AGP 2X the AGP 4X and AGP 8X. Recently AGP got replace by a new port, PCI-E 16X which should be twice as fast as AGP 8X,...

Please don't confuse PCI-Express with PCI, PCI-Express is gooooood, PCI sucks (at least for graphics cards)... Or have you got an AGP slot? Anyways, to be honest with you the fx5200 isn't the greatest card for gaming, a 6200 should do way better. You wanted to pay a 100 Dollar for a 9250??? Quite ex...

POS = Piece of shiznit lol, now I understand what you're talking about... Don't think the fx5200 is a piece of shiznit, depends on the use, for example it's a very good card for a Mediacenter cuz it supports DirectX9 and it's silent (passive cooling). For gaming it's a very big POS though. On...

yes, that's a good point, but if when you come to a point when you do need it, whether its 1or 2 years down the line, the prices of RAM will more than likely drop consederible... No they won't... at least not for DDR1, the prices are slowly rising again just like a few years ago with SDRAM, the onl...

buy a new card. omg... is money growing on your back? not everybody can just go into a store and buy a new card, and btw the 9600xt is still reasonably good. I've got a 9600 non-pro with 256MB @ 400/200 and I'm able to play MW at 1024x768 so a overclocked 9600xt should be capable of 1280x960 easily...

a graphics card has to be installed into a AGP or a PCI-Express slot. The card mentioned above are all still availabe as AGP 8x cards. Please do not confuse pci-express with pci because it's something totally different. For your processor there are no PCI-Express motherboards available, but the diff...
