so is it possible to run SLI on 1 pci-ex16, and 1 pci-ex1 slot? can any pci-e video card work with a pci-e x1 slot?

i noticed that on some mother boards, there are multiple pci-e slots, but wats the difference between the long one and the short ones?

yeah i'm just gunna go for the 7600GT, and then get another one and put it in SLI. that is if i end up having a mobo that has 2 pci-e slots.

man i have like max $110 Canadian to spend on a video. since the 8400 is part of this new line, why shouldnt i get it? i'm not a super gamer. i play like very few games ever.

cuz you said an 8400 is the same thing as a 7300, or 7100 or whatever. so i might as well save myself some money.

if thats the case, then would i be better off buying a 7300le or a Radeon X1050, for the same price. supposedly i hear ati stuff isn't that good these days.or also into that, a 7300gs for 71.99?

P.S.- the le and the x1050 both cost 79.99. and its in canadian.
