Well, aside from the tuning and carlist, NFS Underground was a full blooded NFS game. Action, fun, the 'speed' was present in Need For Speed. UG2 had the great tuning, free roam, but i feel the action was slower. Maybe it was the game itself, or the soundtrack, but it felt slowmotion compared to UG....

I noticed the 240SX too, i suppose that the 'stock' 240SX is just using the same pics because every car (at least every tunable one, i think) is screenshoted after some tuning. I guess they just had those 240SX screenshots ready so they used that, and when time had come to add the Drift Alliance one...

Shift 1, if im not mistaken, did not have any EA TRAX or something like that option to choose which tracks to play. So it was all or nothing. If Shift 2 is like that, ill have to mute the soundtrack. 1 Rise Against song isnt worth enduring the other nine.

I fear the "145" cars carlist thing might involve DLC.

That means, console DLC.

Veyron is heavy, big and too much acceleration and power means it wont do good on twisty tracks. Besides, Zonda is way too awesome to be beaten by a Veyron.

Visual customization is limited, so i take it that bodykits, rear wing removal etc are as taken as 'performance' mods? There's no reason for them to do that, if the activity is low. Just that they have their 'not enough players' excuse.

Most of time all those sentences are not 'false', rather true in a way. Its like saying that a game has many cars, but all that is different is their production year. Like '69 Charger, then maybe '70 Charger, 2005 S2000, 2003 S2000. They are very alike but the carlist is big.

Know 2 bands out of that list, heard of one more. Also this soundtrack is....well ridiculously small.

^not only that, im surprised by the fact that, having previous NFS games you can get HUGE amounts of cash right on the beginning of your career. 10k for Hot Pursuit, 10k for Undercover, 20k for Shift, 10k for World. 50k total. +5k exp bonus, and a Reventon + Zonda Cinque. Isnt it a bit too much?
