Powerful yes, excellent ride NO. It handles like there's no tomorrow, but you're gonna feel every crack and bump in the tarmac.

Not even powerful really, just light as hell. I mean, my old Intrepid was more powerful than an Elise (although it was also almost twice as heavy). But, yeah, an Elise would be insanely fun to drive, if only they were available in Canada.

Lol.
I still think the R32 was the best looking Skyline. Apparently evil handling though.

I don't see the purpose in Vipers. For MORE than a Porsche, you get a car thats uglier, worse buit, has worse fuel economy, and doesn't go round corners, is so huge that you couldn't physically reverse it, a crap quality interior and everyone will think you are even more (shock horror) of a poser than a 996 Turbo driver.
Why not buy the new M5. About the same size, more power, better handling, better engine, better ride, better build, cheaper AND you can carry five in style, without having to saw off the passengers legs to fit them in the car.

A Ford Escape. Its been a great car. My parents have a Subaru Forester. Also good, but mine gets better gas mileage and is cheaper to maintain.
