NFS4 : HS Does not work with 3DfX card

Hi! everyone
I'm using ASUS V3200 AGP card which equiped with a 3dfx chip. Running Windows 98 SE. I'm fail to run NFS4: HS when I select my 3dfx card in 3D Setup Program of NFS4: HS. After selecting my 3dfx card when I run game the screen completely goes black and system become hang. If I select 'Software Render' in 3D Setup programe then games run fine but with very low quality. There is no option for 'Direct3D' in 3D Setup program. I'm also try with Patch 4.5. But still get same result. Someone can help me plz!
