How to increese acceleracion without changing end speed

Ummm...interesting question. Has to do with the car.ini files, but any changes you make to the engine power / car weight / gear ratios affect both acceleration and top speed. It'd take a good bit of math to do a combination that gives you higher accel without changing your final top speed.

Yes i know that... i knew i've had to put out my math skillz but i've succseded only for incresse of 2-3 sec in every gear... it's probably inpossible to increese for acceleration in every gear for 10-15 sec without changing top speed... I've recently made S500 and it goes in 1th gear about 80km/h with increesed acceleration of 1-2 sec...

Try increasing drag also, this should contrarest the power-up. It will be difficult to find a combination, but it should work.

I remembered this form Gran Turismo.

If you have a powerfull car, you can increase accel. without increasing vel. by changing the gearbox.

Instased of this:

GearRatios_0=3.520
GearRatios_1=0.00
GearRatios_2=2.620
GearRatios_3=2.315
GearRatios_4=1.845
GearRatios_5=1.262
GearRatios_6=1.031
GearRatios_7=0.80

Make this:

GearRatios_0=5.00
GearRatios_1=0.00
GearRatios_2=4.50
GearRatios_3=3.50
GearRatios_4=3.00
GearRatios_5=2.20
GearRatios_6=1.50
GearRatios_7=0.80


This is just as an example. Should Work.
