NFS Porsche Unleashed... faster cars????

Post by eagl »

Hello all

I was sure glad to find this site because of my love for NFS PU.

I'm having a lot of trouble in the Evolution driving with the 914 boxy looking '71 Porsche I think it is.

Anyhow, no matter what I do I can't get better than 4th place in either race and therefore I can't advance.

Can someone tell me if they know of a way to beat these 2 races in Evolution??? or is there a way to make my car faster?

Thanx in advance

If you go into the garage and look down the list there you'll find one relating to parts and upgrades for your vehicle. If not sure just run your mouse over it which should give you an explination of what it is. When going through the list of available parts you'll find that the better performance parts cost the most which together increase the speed of your vehicle. From memory I don't think the porsche you mentioned had much to offer. When I use to play it I used all the professional shocks, tires etc. Another thing to do whilst on the net would be to look at a couple of sites like http://www.nfs2000.de, http://www.nfscheats.com and http://www.nd4spdworld.com who provide specs on how to make cars faster.

Rouge is right, but when you finish changing all parts, look in the left-up corne of the screen. There, put all the suspension specs to the minimum, and increase steerin toe in a little bit. Then put more brake power to the rear and redoce a little the front spoilers drag.

Altough all this it will be very difficult to beat the machine in Schwarzwald.
What i did was replace some of the files of the track by others from other tracks. This will make the track not work. Run the other race firt, and when you start Schwarzwald, you will be placed in the same position you finished the other race, but without racing.

Oh... I've just remembered this: you can also increase speed by increasing tire preasure (but not too much or the car will be spinning all the time). Decreasing the tire preasure will cause the car to have better road hold, but lower top speed.

Cool, but you can also go to http://www.nfs-racer.de where I downloaded new cars for the game that actually exceed 900kph. I never thought such speeds were available.

Cool Koffy, I'll give it a go of increasing tyre pressure on 'legal' cars and see what happens.

Well, as you said "It gave me the shiznit often but nevertheless I persevered and completed without the hack. It would probably been much quicker in completing if I'd used it and reduced the cursing."
