nfshp2 lockup

at end of race i get window stating ...unable to save driver profile...... and game will not continue...i have to reboot..i tried uninstalling several times, including saved games, but original profile is still there. when i reinstall...how do i get rid of EVERYTHING? for a complete, clean reinstall?

For a complete desinstall, you have to use the desinstall prog., delete the profiles files, clean up the system registry and eventually any new dll's installed by the game.

I recommend you using System Mechanic . It Cleans up registry and dll's automatically.

Hey koffy, can you provide a link where this System Mechanic utility can be found as I wouldn't mind doing a clean sweep before starting nfs 5 over again...... Thanks.

hey! i uninstalled NFSHP2 again, and removed profile from my docs...also ran program called 'system mechanic' to clean up old unused files...now the game runs great! can continue racing!! SUPER!!

What I meant was that by writing 'it was an honest mistake' he would realise this and not penalise you for putting warez stuff on the forums. If he were to read the forum again he would understand the mistake.
