A controllor for a PC

Post by CD »

Can you buy a controllor (looks like PS2,XBOX etc) for the PC?

If you can, what stores can you get them at?
Are there any that work like any game consoles?
Is it easy to work with?

Give me details, PLEASE!!!!

you can get controllers for the pc that pretty much have the same design as console controllers.

i don't know what country you live in so i don't know what kinda shops you have there.

i'm in the united kingdom and i would recommend places like PC WORLD and DIXONS or shops like them.

i use a controller called "Logitech Wingman Extreme" and i'd say it's a pretty easy controller to use.

hope this helps
CD

Will it be the same?

You got all sorts of game controllers available: wheels, joysticks, gamepads...

The thing that PS2 has is a gamepad and there are plenty available to buy. Don't know if they have force feedback though. If you want to buy one check out the websites of the manufacturers. One example is http://www.logitech.com

I think the controller you are talking about is made by thrustmaster which actually looks a lot like the one for nintendo etc. They also have a variety of wheels with force feedback. You can see them at:

You can connect actual PSX controllers (even two) to the PC. I have one myself and it's very compatible. Check http://www.emulatronia.com, there is a manual how to build it. (Page is in spanish)
