NFS Hot Pursuit 2 Crashes

Trying to reply to the above topic but it is locked for some reason? Anyway I've got the same problem. It has just started to happen. I think it is something to do with directx or an audio codec, something like that. Whatever it is so far I can't find the answer. Any help much appreciated.
