NFS:HS Car Tuning

Post by BluEyes »

Does anybody know the best settings for tuning each car on HS?
I'd most appreciate if you'd share it.

Set engine peak power to far right (high rpms), tires to far right (assuming you're not driving in the rain), suspension stiffness in middle ok, maybe try far left. Aerodyamics far left (most tracks), adjust gears so you just barely red-line at fastest part on track.

Most players don't tune the cars of HS, since you can't use this online or in the career mode.

who plays careeer mode anyway... or online...:P

I havent got any original cars left in the game all replaced my high detailed cars (same as orig and loads extra) so can't go online...
most of the cars I have are upgradeble (and nicely!) but sadly the game can't play at this high detail with 8 cars.. :? (not comp problem... comp is good enough to play NFS U2 full options)
so I play single races... wich is cool enough! \

I use full race tires
setings on streight tracks (not curved)
higher RPM power
earodinamics standard (loose max speed with or grip! with other settings)
brake balans standard... differs per car..!
suspension most of the time I let them be

but generally! it changes with every car... most of the times I don't have everything set on 100% exept tires always 100% dry track

hope it helps

Online play has been setup again using a program called IPLounge, which you can get here:

http://www.rivalstock.com/iplounge.zip

You can get a verion of NFSHS with collision selectable (for TCP-IP races and even offline if you want here:

The other would allow you to turn off collision (between cars) while racing via LAN.

With collision off, cars can go through each other as if they were ghost cars.
