We have 98 win ... and play network game. I greate host game...my friend join , when we push start race , and when this error come. =(((

Again, which NFS game are you talking about? In case you didn't know, there are 6, with the 7th coming out later this year...

I dont know if network cards have patches but try updating it....weird...if you are running NFS 5 (the only NFS game I know so far to have a patch for mp) check that you both have the same versions of the game and are both connected to eachother. And I mean REALLY check that you are both actually connected by say accessing files on the other comp. In my very limited experience with networks, playing Heretic at my dad's office with a few of his employees usually that's the case. But then again...exception error? It might be a software issue

Try downloading the 4.5 patch. I think you can get it from the NFS4 with XP sticky or otherwise just search the net. Oh yeah, what OS both you and your friend use? Have you tried other ips?
