Microsoft Media Centre edition?

I am not so sure about the X200 and the Windows but the rest is fine.
I suggest you get a new card and a new Windows get Windows XP SP2

Windows XP MCE is not listed as one of the supported operating systems. While you may be able to get Carbon to run on that PC, you may encounter problems on your way.

Your graphics card will be able to handle the game, the minimum requirement is Radeon 8500.

I tought Windows XP Media Center Edition is the same as Win XP except it comes with a few programs for watching mediafiles or so.

AFAIK, MCE fully supports TV integration and due to that has some core OS differences than other versions of XP.

ON TOPIC : i played the deom with 768 mb of ram and it ran very smoothly but i ended up ordering another 512 mb stick anyways for the future

and the correcs system requirements are:

Ram: 256 MB or more
Hard Drive: 11 GB or more free space to download and install
Video: DirectX 9.0c compatible

Input: Keyboard, mouse, or USB Streering Wheel / Gamepad
