Probs with restarting - HELP!?

I restarted in order to try and follow a guide to get the 1mill reward card,
The guide is:

Anyway, i got game over'd, started with the camaro raced 2 races in each area and beat angie w/out buying any performance/visuals.
I had Neville hired and sal active.
Beat angie in the stock camaro, hired and set samson as wingman.
Only have 95,600
Didnt get to pick ANY markers from Angie.

I had 100% completion before, does that matter?
Whats happened!?

You have to beat ALL the races in Kempton. This is easy because circuit drifts can be hard. There are none in Kempton. There are ONLY downhill drifts.Just beat all those races ding-dong. Read the FAQ right.

It's not a bug. Since you defeated those bosses before on the same profile, you don't get to choose any markers this time around. The author of that guide should've mentioned that in there.

And before i burn the thing how do i get enoough defensive races- just keep reapeating ones before getting 100%?
