Urgent help with NFS Carbon!

I have NFS Carbon for PS2. And i've raced with the Plymouth Roadrunner, along with a few other cars, that i cannot customize or even look at even though i've beaten the game. i have not completed the Challenge Series part where i need to disable 30 cops with the chevelle yet. but i keep seeing all these cars on here, that i havent even SEEN in the game yet. is there something wrong? why can't i see these cars so i can customize them? why can't i see these cars in my game period? the ones i've seen/cant customize/cant use are : Roadrunner,2007 GT500, 2006 GTO,1992 Toyota MR2, Lexus IS300, 1986 Corolla AE86, 2004 G35, 2006 Lotus Europa, cant customize Audi LeMans, M3 GTR, 911 GT3, 911 Turbo S. Help please!

one simple answer for you (especially since you have PS2 version)

its "normal" !

go blame EA

And go blame EA some more on the G35 and 911 Turbo. A slip of the keyboard redered these cars permenantly locked (unless you have a version of NFSC that supports online gameplay).
