all cars hack error

Hi, I am having trouble using the all cars hack that you have made. I follow the readme and put all the file in a folder on the desktop and then i run setup and it says setup complete. I start the game, pick the profile look over all the cars (alot of them) then when i click race the screen goes blank and it goes back to desktop. Do you know whats wrong?

It seems something is definitely wrong! I have received a lot of emails about this subject.
Here's a check list:

full install from original CD
download official EA cars (GT2, GT3, 959 and 928, all available @ nfsunlilmited.net)
install patch 3.5

This is what I have done and it still works. Maybe the problem is OS related, I honestly don't know.

If the setup program won't work you can install the files manually.
Go to the game's directory (where Porsche.exe is) and put the files in these folders:
8Allcars.sav -> SaveData
trafficlogos.fsh -> FEData\Art
Allcars.bmp -> root directory
