@Tunerfreak: Sorry, I'm no help to you.

@Sir Ibi: I'm not so ofay with it either but here goes.

DDS is a file format used for storing textures used in 3D models, such as the cars found in video games. Carcad and Zmodeler are 3D graphics editting programs that can be used to create those 3D models.

Somebody help me out here.. *swims away*

Sorry I said carcar. what is easier for me to start editing cars with. Ive heard zmodeler is more confusing with more things you can do. Ive got zmodeler and I have done a bit of editing on cars but just quick playing around. From there im lost. Is carcad easier to understand?

And I was also wondering if there was a way to put bitmap files into underground 1, because I exported the neons of the rx7 which made them DDS format then I had to use a program with a DDS plugin to open the neons and convert them to bitmap to edit them. Once I had there seems to be no way to change the neons back to DDS format because DDS seems to be the only file type you can import back into the game. Do I need another program? I used bintex for exporting.

Its ok GT. Theres plenty of people around the forums that should know.

Oh and DDS stands for 'direct draw something' I think.(<something as in I dont know)
