need to get a 8800GTS :D

Jump from 8600 GTS to 8800 GTS imho isnt that big. Get a GTX if you want to go for top end cards.

Tho, I beleive that even 8600 will do the job perfectly fine.

The fact that the PC version is cheaper doesn't surprise me at all, it's been like that ages ago. But the fact that it's $20 cheaper is weird.

Or prices have to compete with ongoing piracy.

OFFTOPIC:
Which one...the GT or the GTS? bc the GTS has a different core and the speeds are quicker than the standard GT. Even though....the GTS it's a magnificent card....I have it with O.C (overclocking) and it runs so damn fast....

ONTOPIC:
Anyways the reqs are "pretty highi" IMO and they can kill a 2-3 year PC. I'm on my way to get a 8800GTX...but still so damn expensive... :(

The 2.8 is for Pentium 4 processors, you do not need to overclock your dual-core processor, it is way faster than the minimum specs :)

AMD X2 Dual Core 4400+
2GB RAM
Enough HDD space
7800GT (OC to 7800GTX speeds)
Creative Xfi-Xtreme Audio
I reckon it should run fine on medium, I might need to invest in a 8800GT launching on the 14th November though.
Edit: Just read that the 8600GTS and the 7800GTX perform about the same in DirectX 9 applications :D
Well of course it will work. Look at your machine! It eats little children... hehe :D
