R34 Skyline GT-R. Although I need to tune down the hp, it was far too high for me at the moment.

Ive got the same Z4 and while the acceleration is good as you mention i find the top speed annoying and very short.

I also tried with the camaro concept and had the same problem. I am waiting to buy the murcielago to see how good it is for grip races.

Thats EXACTLY my problem. I try to beat the skyline from Paul whateverhisnameis and i simply cant match his top speed there. Ive tried making absurdly long gear changes but still i cant find the top speed i need to beat him. Im about to get the money for a murcielago so i will most likely just buy that and kick the hell out of that guy.

My only comfort is that i always beat the hell out of him in drag races ^_^

I've got very nicely custom tuned Ford GT. She's simply awesome! Pure exhilaration and it's also a pleasure to drive her. Although at first, it was actually scary. 940 Bhp can do a lot of things, you know! ;D

I've also tried others. The GT-R R34 Skyline, i think is most definitely one of the best you can have for Grips as well as Speed Challenge races, if not the best.

I Finnally ended up beating Paul Trask in a Porsche and not only beating him, but also making him look very bad. My car had a top speed of 387 Km/h so i just left everyone behind ^_^

right now i have a nice lancer X, the lancer and 240SX have awesome handling and basically overtake anything easily on the turns but is lacking a bit in top speed.

RX-8 for my, altho its a tad slow off the grid for my liking, back to the garage methinks

used to use an impreza but you could really feel the weight roll when cornering.

Yo!

I think its important to also share, together with your impressions, what controlers and game platform you guys use, because sometimes the differences are explained just by the answer to that question.

Cya!

indeed, but this has nothing do do with racing, i really should get off my ass and sign up to EA online, i know pro street is awesome over a lan with the 1.1 patch but whats it like online? can i expect a bunch of screaming children or can i expect some decently skilled drivers?
