NFSU2 graphics: blocks everywhere :(

HELP!

I had no problems w/ the game, but all of a sudden I have blocks all over

(see screenshot). I think I recently switched to DirectX 9.0c... b/4 I had DirectX8.1. Anyone seen this problem b/4, and if so: what to do about it??

lol... that's pretty damn cool. Only affects your car. Maybe your car data file is corrupt because that's the only thing affected???

Try re-installing the car file.

Unfortunately it affects the fog, lighting effects too. And of course, I'm the only one in the world that has this problem...

Very odd problem. Reinstall the game, and your grapchic drivers.

i think vellu's right... when u installed DX 9.0c ur graphic drivers got somehow messed up... do this: uninstall NFSU2, then reinstall ur graphics drivers, and after that reinstall NFSU2.. see if that works

EDIT: Do you overclock your graphics card? I just realized this is exactly what i get if i clock my card too high. This and a really high core temp on my GFX card.. check for overheating too

nope no overclocking, didn't mess w/ that.... just my luck eh...

tried that too, DL-ed a complete package to upgrade all drivers for my graphics card, but still got a jigsaw screen

maybe it's not the software, but something in my hardware... orso....

seems so man... if u have a seconf computer, try plugging ur gfx card in that... if NFSU2 still has the same problem, u've got a hardware problem with your card

You *MIGHT* want to tell us what graphics card you're using...and other specs, if possible..
And can you check its temperature?
