No one's answered the original question. To turbo tune a car, you need to move 2 or 3 bars from 1 though 6 down, then do a dyno run (you can interrupt the dyno run to speed things up), then back to dyno and more the bars down again. Most of the time, you'll notice a .1 gain in horsepower. You can gain about 3.3% power this way, but it will take about 200 cycles, to get alll the bars from 1 through 6 at the very bottom.
You need to adjust the ECU settings first, I just lower them on the left and leave the ones on the right maxed out.

The turbo "glitch" is considered fine for online play by most players. It used to be allowed at wrecords also, but since it was hard to check for all the variations, they dropped support of turbo tuning. Some tournaments don't allow turbo tuning either.Dude wrote:SteveoJH83 we can help you for the glitch but its illegal to race online
Since the turbo "glitch" is within the game, only adds a small amount of power, 3.3%, most online players don't have an issue with it.
ECU "glitch", can only be done by patching a savegame or memory, and adds about 14% (on top of the turbo tuning's 3.3%). This should be considered illegal, but I find a lot of players using it on the EU servers, but rarely on the US servers. Then again, finding anyone on the US servers is getting to be rare.
