omfg..that car is ultra rare, and you call it 'nothing much'. Apparently there's only 3 of them in Australia.

It's not all candy and apples, that car depreciates at 12k UK pounds a day.

It also means that after 4 years, a man with a medium, but steady income can afford a 2nd hand Maybach. Now that's a sort of a happy thought for the 98% of the world.

Well you're using a very, very ,very, very, very expensive piece of equipment, and what happens when you use something - its value decreases.

Thus, all those fancy stuff and material quickly start to loose their value, that is unless you keep the car in a wall to wall carpeted garage.

Same goes for Rolls Royce, a old RR can be bought for a fair price, while it once was only availeble for the very rich.

But I doubt a person with a moderate income can afford a Maybach in 4 years time.
not even a "stock" one.

the most fun thing about super expensive cars like the Maybach is that you can get them factory customized in ANY way you want.

The problem with new/luxurious/fast cars is that their value is inhernetly hinged upon being newest/most luxurious/fastest, and so their desirability quickly drops when something better comes around.

That being said, even if depreciation brings a Maybach into a common person's range, parts, fuel, and a plethora of other costs will make it a very poor choice.

Numerous $50K Mercedes
'05 Ford GT
Lotus Exige
Dodge Viper (my friend from school owns one)
Aston Martin DB9
Rolls Royce's

Yea its cool to see awesome expensive cars across the lane... :D
