Well, I have the linkin park CD, but it has the "Special flash" stuff on the computer. And i WANT to import the music into UNDERGROUND and cant. The CD doesn't have any ASF files OR ANY music files... but it plays on a regular CD/DVD/ etc... player. But not on the computer, because as i said, the CD don't have ANY music files when I'm on computer! So how can I get the files out? There are some files that end with .x16 and .x32. How to open? Here are 2 pics.
Go get the NFSU music importer RIGHT rom the utils section on this site. (But you have to repalce the music...) But You need ASF files ONLY. BU PLEASE STILL HELP ME ON THIS!
Yeh - I have the CD too, it looks like there's some kind of protection scheme in place. Along bobyx' lines, I expect you can use a CD ripper like MusicMatch to rip the music to MP3, then hopefully import to the game from that format...
Well then you probably can't really do anything. The Easy CD-DA extractor works best among rippers, but it's also up to your cd drive and the type of protection used on the cd.
My brother bought a couple of cds which have copy protection and he can't play them in the car's cd player. We then managed to rip the songs off the cd, but only on one cd-rom (my mother's drive which is the cheapest mitsumi drive on the market). It didn't work anywhere else - we tried on 4 different drives.
So it's all up to luck (if you have a burner, try ripping there, there's a bigger chance).
Look, if you OWN the original CD, tecnically, you CAN download the songs in the CD from the internet in mp3, or any other format, since you have already payed for the rights.
