they wont release it sooner. they want people to wait eagerly for the demo (and make their heads explode) then it comes out late and the fans still have the hype and excitement stuck in them and decide to buy the game instead.

Oh, my bad...I should have said these are the RECOMMENDED requirements...the game will definately work on 512 mb...but don't expect maxed out details...
