Same with most of Cage's films. None are ever great or shabby. Just bleh.

I loved Happy Feet. I watched it at least 2 times (maybe even 3 times). I heard a lot of parents were complaining about the "sexual" positions and songs in the movie but I didn't even realize that until someone brought it up.
donaldgladden wrote:no matter how good 300 might be, i'd rather watch happy feet than a movie where every guy has to be half naked.
If you're going to think of it that way...no offense but you are a homosexual (and even though in today's society that's ok, I despise the whole idea and notion of it). But that's a topic for another discussion.

I never thought for one second of the Spartans like that. I loved the battles and the action. I loved the Sepia color palette. The whole damn movie was awesome just because of the action and suspense.

Yep, I've seen it about a month ago. Friend called me up 'cause he was bored and we decided to watch it. I wouldn't say it's very terrible (just because of Eva Mendes) but it was nothing special either. I guess it was a decent time killer. It was alright when it came out because there weren't any other good movies out but it would be a waste of money and time to go watch it now.

Thanks for your input. And I agree with the Eva part :P. I also like most of Cage's movies aswell. I guess Ill wait to rent it on On Demand.

Anyways, I found out awhile ago that The Punisher 2 is going to be coming out sometime this year. Same with National Tresure2, Alien Vs Predator2, Saw 4, Rush Hour 3.

Looks like a decent list of upcoming films

I myself like many of his movies...
From the top of my head: Lord Of War, Con Air, Leaving Las Vegas, Family Man..
Con Air might not be artistically a great movie, but it's one of the best "popcorn" movies ever.

Yeah, Saw 4 is set for Halloween of this year. The third one really disappointed me, out of all three, the first was the best. Then they just went downhill from there. I really hope that the fourth will be better.

no where in my sentence did i give away a hint of me being a homosexual. I quoted that i rather see Happy feet than 300. Not vice versa. i respect that you misread my post, considering people misread my posts all the time.

So you'd rather see fully-naked penguins instead of half-naked men . . .

What do you call that? Zoosexual? Penguophilia?

Did Hollywood run out of ideas? All I'm seeing is sequels...Pirates 3, Spider-Man 3, Saw 4, Shrek 3, Rush Hour 3, Punisher 2, National Treasure 2, AVP 2, Batman 2, Jurassic Park 3, Indiana Jones 4, etc. Anything original? I guess Transformers is something "original" and will definitely kick ass but that's it.

As I'm a huge fan of Transformers, I'm defnineifenlvlty gonna see the movie.
But seriously, have you guys seen the trailer? The robots are friggin' ridicilous.
They look anorectic (?).. Or like stupid bionicle robots.
They don't look big and cool like they used to do.

Meh, I'm gonna by myself and Optimus Prime toy and play or day.

Have seen the first part of it. I did not like it very much so I was not patient enough to wait until the end.

Right now I wonder if there will be a fourth movie of the Fast & the Furious. XD

I think its a wreck now that paul has left. The movie itself isn't like a James Bond where a different actor can jump in the scene. If there's going to be a 4th, they should have the same actors in the 3rd one atleast and go back to Miami imo.

Social Studies class just finished "blood diamond" and it has a strong effect on both the consumers and the diamond industry. Even with the "Kimberly process" it won't stop the smuggling of blood diamond. and the violence wasn't there just for entertainment, it shows how hard the life is in Africa today. and after we finished it, we came to a concolusion....AMERICA IS INFLUENCED BY MEDIA.
